ArtSTEM: A class about everything.
The final for this class seemed quite simple...at first. I was tasked with the assignment of creating a piece of art that unifies all of the subjects covered along with lighting. Photography seemed like a good way to do that. The photos below are the top five from the 14 In the presentation.
The top photo was a combination between lighting and how to ask a good question. The image is created from multiple light sources and cut up foil.
This image represents the class about soundwaves. It was created with natural light, a bowl of water, and about three hours.
Auto-destructive art is represented in this photo of a Lego tower facing destruction from a Lego car speeding towards it. Auto destructive art is a philosophy that art is for the public. It should not be sold or created for sale. This picture is my attempt to exemplify that.
This photo is paired with the psychology class focused on personalities and whether it is nature or nurture. Artist personalities are often a combination between the two. This photo is one subject being artificially lit(left side) and naturally lit(right side). I tried to capture the duality in psychology in this photo with the usage of dual light sources.
